XCHG Limited (XCharge) has entered into a collaboration with EnBW, Germany’s largest charge point operator, to expand testing of fast-charging infrastructure. As part of EnBW’s strategic testing program, eleven XCharge fast-charging units have been deployed across four locations, including Stuttgart, Rutesheim, Karlsruhe Durlach Center, and Karlsruhe central train station. The initiative focuses on evaluating XCharge’s advanced DC fast-charging technology, which features up to 400 kW power output, dual CCS connectors, and a modular design. Initial results from EnBW’s laboratory and field trials have been promising, with XCharge’s technology meeting stringent requirements for technology, service, data protection, and software. This collaboration marks a significant step for XCharge in expanding its presence in the German market and contributing to the development of reliable high-power charging infrastructure.
