Rocket Lab (RKLB) said Sunday it successfully launched an Electron rocket to deploy a satellite for the Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, a Japan-based Earth imaging company.

The mission was Rocket Lab's 21st Electron launch of the year, it said.

Shares of the company were up by over 4.5% in recent Monday premarket activity.
