China will ship chilled pork to Singapore for the first time, more than a year after the city resumed imports of frozen pork from China, Xinhua News Agency reported Sunday.
Shipments to Singapore are expected to arrive after a month, according to the report, citing Peng Huifeng, the deputy general manager of pork producer Hunan Huale Foodstuff.
Hunan is the only Chinese province exporting chilled pork. Chongqing and Heilongjiang sell processed cooked pork to the city, according to the state-owned news agency.
