Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise in Friday Trading; 2% for Week

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were tracking higher Friday morning, rising 0.56% to 2,724.26 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index, which is up more than 2% for the week.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by automotive platform Uxin (UXIN) and travel company Tuniu (TOUR), which advanced 7% and 3.3% respectively. They were followed by healthcare platform 111 (YI) and pet-focused platform Boqii (BQ), which increased 2.7% and 1.8% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by technology firm Xunlei (XNET) and fintech firm Jiayin Group (JFIN), which fell 4.3% and 2.8% respectively. They were followed by automotive marketplace Token Cat (TC) and biopharmaceutical company Zai Lab (ZLAB), which dropped 2.5% and 2.4% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by telecommunications operator Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLK) and tech conglomerate Sea (SE), which rose 0.8% and 0.7% respectively. They were followed by IT firm Wipro (WIT) and pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY), which were up 0.5% and 0.4% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by lender HDFC Bank (HDB), which dropped 0.2%, followed by lender ICICI Bank (IBN) and telecommunications operator PLDT (PHI), which were off 0.1% each.
