Temple & Webster Group (ASX:TPW) received notice that State Street and its affiliates became a substantial holder of the company on Dec. 24, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

State Street now owns 6.6 million shares in the company, representing 5.52% of the issued shares, the filing said.

The company's shares fell past 2% in recent Monday trade.
