Churchill Capital IX (CCIX) and PlusAI filed an amended registration statement with US regulators for their planned business combination.

The registration statement, which is subject to change, includes a preliminary combined proxy statement and prospectus and has not yet been declared effective, the companies said Tuesday in a statement.

The filing follows the first amendment to a draft registration statement on Dec. 5.

The combined entity, to be called PlusAI, is expected to be listed on Nasdaq under the ticker PLS. The transaction is now expected to close in Q1.

Churchill IX is a blank-check company, and PlusAI develops AI software for autonomous trucks.
