Sprintex (ASX:SIX) confirmed the company is aware that information on a purchase order from Netherlands-based Mest Water could have a material effect on the value of its securities, according to its response to the ASX Aware Letter filed Wednesday with the Australian bourse.

The company received the purchase order on Dec. 23 and made a same-day disclosure requesting a trading halt until the market opens on Dec. 29, the filing said.

Sprintex said the purchase order was worth 15.6 million euros on Dec. 29.

Additionally, the company maintained that it had made six filings in relation to its commercial relationship with Mest Water before the Dec. 29 disclosure.

Sprintex shares rose nearly 19% in afternoon trade on Wednesday and earlier reached their highest since September 2018.
