GD Power Development's (SHA:600795) chairman, Tang Jian, resigned due to a job transfer, according to a Tuesday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.

Zhao Shibin, the company's director and general manager, will act as chairman until Tang's successor is named.

The power generation company's shares dropped over 2% during the midday trade.
