Luminor Financial's (SGX:5UA) subsidiary, Luminor Capital (Malaysia), established a stepdown subsidiary in Malaysia, Luminor SPV 1, according to a Monday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The new company's principle activity is to serve as a special purpose vehicle to raise financing for Luminor's group of companies.

Shares of the financial services provider were down nearly 3% at the close of trading on Monday.
