Asian Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rise in Thursday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were trending higher Thursday morning, rising 0.44% to 2,782.86 on the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by game live-streaming service HUYA (HUYA) and consumer lender Eason Technology (DXF), which climbed 19% and 11% respectively. They were followed by healthcare company Accendra Health (ACH) and video-sharing platform Bilibili (BILI), which advanced 10% and 5.7% respectively.

The decliners from North Asia were led by polysilicon manufacturer Daqo New Energy (DQ) and used car marketplace Uxin (UXIN), which fell 12% and 6.8% respectively. They were followed by fintech firm Pintec Technology (PT) and solar panel maker JinkoSolar (JKS), which were down 4.3% and 3.9% respectively.

From South Asia, the gainers were led by IT firm Sify Technologies (SIFY) and lender ICICI Bank (IBN), which rose 3.6% and 1.2% respectively. They were followed by telecommunications operator PLDT (PHI) and lender HDFC Bank (HDB), which were up 0.4% each.

The decliners from South Asia were led by tech conglomerate Sea (SE) and IT company Wipro (WIT), which dropped 3.7% and 1.9% respectively. They were followed by pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories (RDY) and IT firm Infosys (INFY), which lost 1.5% and 1.2% respectively.
