Altair Minerals (ASX:ALR) confirmed high-grade and thick gold intercepts at North Peters prospect, within the Greater Oko project in Guyana, following the receipt of further historic drilling results through a data-room acquisition, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The results include 89 meters at 2.40 grams per tonne grade of gold from 45 meters, and 63 meters at 2.25 g/t grade of gold from 55 meters, the filing said.
Additionally, the company received assay results from grab samples taken during its 2025 reconnaissance trip, confirming the surficial presence of high-grade gold, per the filing.
Shares rose nearly 13% in afternoon trade on Thursday and earlier reached their highest since March 2021.
