Canyon Resources (ASX:CAY) said that mining operations are set to start in February at its Minim Martap Bauxite project in Cameroon, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company expects to complete upgrade works at the project by the end of the first quarter and to complete the first bauxite shipment in June, the filing said.
