West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) completed a AU$3.2 million placement, issuing 16.8 million new shares and bringing its total fully paid ordinary shares to 350.7 million, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company also has a variety of unlisted options and performance rights, with options totaling 34.9 million and performance rights totaling 17 million, the filing added.
Proceeds will be used for drilling, assay processing, and follow-up exploration at the Elizabeth Hill project in Western Australia, an earlier filing showed.
The company's shares rose 4% in recent Thursday trade.
