Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) received the native vegetation clearing permit approval for the development of an open-pit within its Kambalda gold and nickel project, effective Thursday, according to a same-day filing with the Australian bourse.

The company expects to make a final investment decision on the project once its ore purchase agreement with major shareholder, St Ives Gold Mining, becomes unconditional, the filing said.
