AusQuest Says Drilling 'Significantly' Expands Size of Copper Mineralization at Peru Project

AusQuest (ASX:AQD) said that drilling has "significantly" expanded the size of its porphyry copper-gold system at its Cangallo porphyry copper-gold project in Peru, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Drilling also showed that copper oxides and sulfides are present in all drill holes to varying degrees, and extended the strike length of the mineralization, the filing said.

The company said it expects initial assay results this month.
