Pan Asia Environmental Protection Group (HKG:0556) said it agreed to buy certain hardware designed for artificial intelligence workload for HK$33.6 million, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Monday.
Shares of the environmental protection products maker fell over 4% in morning trade Tuesday.
The firm is purchasing the AI assets, which include graphics processing units servers, from Chengdu Qingshu.
The purchase will help the firm with the construction of its AI center and diversification into the AI business.
