United Breweries (NSE:UBL, BOM:532478) has launched its "Kingfisher Smooth Strong Premium Beer' in the Indian state of

Rajasthan, with effect from Wednesday, according to a same-day filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The new product will be priced at 100 Indian rupees for a 330 ml bottle, 145 rupees for a 500 ml can, and 185 rupees for a 650 ml bottle.

The company's shares were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
