Consumer stocks were leaning lower pre-bell Monday, with the State Street Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLP) down 0.3% and the State Street Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLY) marginally declining.

Walt Disney (DIS) said the "Avatar: Fire and Ash" film officially surpassed $1 billion at the box office worldwide. Shares of Walt Disney were down 0.3% premarket.
