Sprintex (ASX:SIX) received firm commitments to raise AU$3.6 million through the early exercise of options and the issue of new shares, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The capital raise includes the exercise of 16.3 million options at an exercise price of AU$0.10 apiece to raise AU$1.6 million, alongside the placement of 26.7 million shares at AU$0.075 apiece to raise a further AU$2 million, the filing said.
Funds will be used to advance opportunities associated with Netherlands-based environmental technology company Mest Water, per the filing.
Sprintex shares rose 1% in morning trade on Friday.
