Saint Bella (HKG:2508) bought back 652,000 shares from the open market as part of its 2025 share award scheme, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on Friday.
Shares of the maternal and childcare company gained nearly 8% in late morning trade.
Meanwhile, the firm's chief executive and controlling shareholder Xiang Hua bought 77,000 shares of the company between Jan. 2 and Jan. 6, Saint Bella said.
Xiang agreed not to reduce his shareholding in the company for a period of 12 months, the firm added.
