Haranga Resources Finds Gold Mineralization in Senegal Gold Project

Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR) said it found a more than 800-meter gold mineralization trend during a recent drilling at its South Gold Project's TMS Anomaly 3 in Senegal, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 16 meters at 1.08 grams per tonne grade of gold from 4 meters, including four meters at 1.40 g/t gold from 12 meters.

The company said that a review of drill data to date indicates flexures in the mineralized trend, suggesting possible cross-faulting. This interpretation will guide further drill targeting for potential higher-grade zones at TMS Anomaly 3, which remains open at depth and along strike, the company added.

Following receipt of approvals, Haranga said it plans to start further follow-up drilling in the first quarter with the intent to complete an additional definition of the high-grade zone identified in phase 1, with the benefit of a stronger understanding of the mineralized system and first-pass drilling of Priority 1 and Priority 2 TMS anomalies, which remain untested.
