Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) identified nine broad gold targets at the Lone Pine Dam, Venetian, and Lake Yindarlgooda prospects at the Randalls gold project in Western Australia, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

This came after the firm completed litho-structural interpretation of all geophysical data, as well as a review of all available surface geochemistry covering the northern tenements of the project.

Many of the targets are coincident with large, over 20 parts-per-billion gold-in-soil anomalies. The surface geochemistry review identified five zones of moderate-to-large gold in-soil anomalism.

It is progressing talks with the Native Title Parties to advance the tenements to grant, along with the scheduled start of initial environmental surveys.

The firm's shares jumped 3% in recent trading on Tuesday.
