Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) said drilling at the Maverick Springs silver-gold project in Nevada confirmed the continuity, quality, and scale of silver-gold mineralization, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling encountered intercepts of 123.9 meters at 81.8 grams per tonne (g/t) of silver-equivalent, including 51 g/t grade of silver and 0.4 g/t grade of gold from 216.8 meters, as well as 29.7 meters at 201.9 g/t of silver-equivalent, including 85.1 g/t grade of silver and 1.4 g/t grade of gold.
Sun Silver's shares jumped past 4% in recent trading on Tuesday.
