International Business Machines (IBM) said Monday that it is launching IBM Sovereign Core, a software that enables organizations to build, deploy and manage their own AI-ready sovereign environments.
The software aims to support customers in achieving verifiable sovereignty and full operational control over their technology infrastructure, IBM said.
Customers can deploy IBM Sovereign Core in on-premises data centers, supported in-region cloud infrastructure or through IT service providers, the company said, adding that it is collaborating with IT service providers globally, starting with an initial rollout in Europe.
IBM Sovereign Core will be available in tech preview in February, with full general availability planned for mid-year 2026.
