Altair Minerals (ASX:ALR) said the acquisition and compilation of an expanded historic database uncovered 'exceptional' intercepts at the North Peters deposit, part of the Greater Oko gold project in Guyana, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The intercepts included 85 meters at 4.81 grams per tonne grade of gold from 24 meters. Data acquisition also revealed a fourth target in the project, named Old Granny.
The firm's shares rose 4% in recent trading on Thursday.
