Ausgold (ASX:AUC) delivered an updated definitive feasibility study for its Katanning project in Western Australia in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Life-of-mine forecast for gold production rose to 1.2 million ounces, indicating an average annual output of 143,000 ounces per annum for the first four years, with an improved production profile in years five to ten, the filing said.
Pre-development activities are now underway alongside project permitting in a bid to deliver a final investment decision by the middle of the year, per the filing.
Shares rose 1% in midday trade on Friday.
