Tiangong International (HKG:0826) said its subsidiary Jiangsu Tiangong Aihe Technology was granted membership to China's Institute of Energy's joint laboratory for the research and development of fusion advanced metallic materials, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Friday.
During its five-year membership, Jiangsu Tiangong Aihe will focus on include the completion of large scale powder metallurgy and the development of a new neutron shield steel.
Jiangsu Tiangong Aihe will have to set up a research and development team to formulate research and development plans and carry out technical research in response to the demand for fusion reactor materials, Tiangong International said.
