Petroleo Brasileiro (PBR), or Petrobras, said Thursday that its 2025 production of 2.4 million barrels of oil per day exceeded its previously announced 2025 to 2029 targets by 0.5 percentage points.

The 2025 oil production also increased by 11% from a year earlier, the company added.

Petrobras said total oil and natural gas production in 2025 of 2.99 million barrels of oil equivalent per day also exceeded its targets by 2.8 percentage points, and grew 11% year over year. Meanwhile, commercial oil and natural gas production beat the targets by 0.9 percentage points at 2.62 million boed.
