Region Group (ASX:RGN) confirmed Greg Chubb will take over as chief executive on March 9, succeeding Anthony Mellowes, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

Mellowes will remain CEO until Chubb assumes the role then step back from daily operations on March 8 while continuing with the company until his notice period concludes on May 31, the filing added.
