Red Hill Minerals (ASX:RHI) said diamond and reverse circulation drilling at the Barkley gold target at its West Pilbara gold-base metal project in Western Australia increased and extended the mineralisation footprint at Barkley to over a one-kilometer strike length, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of 1.3 meters at 2 grams per tonne grade of gold from 9.7 meters, as well as one meter at 5.1 grams-per-tonne grade of gold from 57 meters.
The firm is conducting geological modelling to assist with future drill planning.
Its shares fell nearly 1% in recent trading on Monday.
