This takes the number of shares bought back on the current mandate to 19,159,200 or 1.15 per cent of its issued shares (excluding treasury shares) as of the share buyback resolution. Secondary-listed Hongkong Land also bought back 740,000 shares at an average price of S$7.87 apiece. Director TransactionsOver the five sessions, more than 50 director interests and substantial shareholdings were filed. Across more than 30 primary-listed stocks, Directors or CEOs reported 11 acquisitions and three disposals, while substantial shareholders recorded six acquisitions and seven disposals.Low Keng Huat (Singapore)On January 14, Asdew Acquisitions acquired 43,542,000 shares of Low Keng Huat (Singapore) at an average price of S$0.773 apiece. This saw Alan Wang Yu Huei and Asdew Acquisitions become a substantial shareholder of Low Keng Huat (Singapore) with a 7.29 per cent interest. Consistent Record also raised its offer price on Low Keng Huat from S$0.72 a share to S$0.78 last week.Lincotrade & AssociatesBetween January 12 and 13, Lincotrade & Associates Holdings substantial shareholder and chief operating officer Tan Chee Khoon increased his direct interest from 15.92 per cent to 16.75 per cent. The 1,505,300 shares were acquired at S$0.21 apiece. He has gradually increased his direct interest from 13.21 per cent in October 2022. Mr Tan joined Lincotrade & Associates in March 1999 as a Junior Site Supervisor and rose quickly through the ranks — Site Supervisor (August 1999), Site Coordinator (January 2000), Project Manager (September 2005) and General Manager (January 2008). He currently oversees all tendering and project management activities for the Company. Lincotrade & Associates Holdings made its official debut on the SGX Catalist in August 2022, following a reverse takeover of the listed entity Fabchem China, which resulted in the transfer of the listing to Lincotrade & Associates Holdings interior design and renovation business.QAF QAF Holdings Joint group managing director and executive director Lin Kejian has filed a series of acquisitions from January 7 to January 13, increasing his total interest from 39.25 per cent to 39.44 per cent. The shares were acquired at an average price of S$0.92 apiece. QAF Holdings manufactures and distributes bread, bakery and confectionery products, in addition to providing  warehousing logistics for food items, while also trading and distributing food and beverages. It is expected to report its FY25 (ended Dec 31) results at the end of February. Its 1HFY25 revenue of S$306.1 million held steady in constant currency) from 1HFY24, with profitability weaker as PBT declined 62 per cent to S$6.5 million. The decrease was due to higher foreign currency translation losses, as well as higher operating costs, which included increased operating lease expense and impairment loss on certain property, plant and equipment in the Bakery segment. Looking ahead, the Group expects soft consumer sentiment, volatile FX conditions, and elevated cost structures to persist, but will continue to mitigate margin pressures through product‑mix optimisation, new product launches, and operational efficiency initiatives, supported by its strong balance sheet. QAF Holdings also maintained a net cash position of S$162.4 million at the end of 1HFY25.XMHBetween Jan 7 and 13, XMH Holdings chairman and managing director Tan Tin Yeow acquired 515,000 shares at an average price of S$1.50. This increased his direct interest to 64.72 per cent, from 65.19 per cent. This followed his acquisition of shares between January 5 and 6. Mr Tan is a seasoned leader with over 40 years in marine and industrial engines, has driven the Group’s growth since 2010 through strategic planning, acquisitions, and building its distribution arm. For its 1HFY26 (ended Oct 31), revenue surged 40.5 per cent from 1HFY25, and PAT rose 23 per cent, driven by strong demand and a robust order book supporting a positive outlook.JEP Between January 13 and 14, JEP Holdings executive chairman and chief executive officer Andy Luong acquired 384,600 shares at an average price of S$0.275 per share. This took his total interest in the Catalist-listed provider of precision machining and engineering services from 79.55 per cent to 79.64 per cent. Mr Luong holds 14.04 per cent of the issued share capital of UMS Holdings, which in turn holds 79.55 per cent of the issued share capital of the company. JEP Holdings is expected to report its FY25 (ended Dec 31) results at the end of February. The Group has over 30 years of operating history and has built up a strong value chain to provide seamless manufacturing solutions to its clients. Its current twin growth engines are Aerospace and Semiconductors.For its 1HFY25, JEP Holdings reported a 51.6 per cent rise in net attributable profit from 1HFY24, to S$1.6 million on sales of S$27.3 million. The steady revenue was supported by stronger Precision Machining performance despite declines in Equipment Manufacturing and Trading & Others. The Group enhanced cost efficiency, reducing cost of sales and administrative and selling expenses across the board.  It also highlighted that all core business segments remained profitable except Equipment Manufacturing. The Group is  repositioning its Equipment Manufacturing segment toward higher‑margin front‑end semiconductor production, strengthening synergies with parent UMS Integration and accelerating growth. The Group maintains the strategic shift focuses on meeting rising demand for products that support Artificial Intelligence and its related sectors.ASTI ASTI Holdings has remained focused on rebuilding its financial position following the substantial losses recorded in the last financial year. It announced on January 9 that it has entered into a Placement Agreement with SAC Capital for the proposed placement of up to 128 million new ordinary shares at an issue price of S$0.025 per share.The Placement Shares represent approximately 19.55 per cent of the existing issued and paid‑up share capital of the Company comprising 654,731,486 shares in issue and will represent approximately 16.35 per cent of the enlarged number of issued Shares upon completion of the Proposed Placement. ASTI Holdings maintain opportune timing to undertake the Proposed Placement to fund the business expansion of the Group including potential new businesses with existing customers, research and development on equipment to improve the yield rate for its products and working capital. The proposed utilisation of the net proceeds comprises 60 per cent for business expansion, 30 per cent for research and development, and 10 per cent for working capital. MoneyMax MoneyMax Financial Services (MoneyMax) a leading financial services provider and trader of luxury products in Southeast Asia, announced on January 14 that it has made an application to the SGX-ST to transfer its listing from Catalist to the Mainboard. Since its Catalist listing in 2013, the Group has delivered sustained growth, a strong operating track record and increasing scale, achieving an average annualised total return of 13 per cent. Price gains in 2025 significantly boosted long‑term returns, while average daily turnover surged nine‑fold over the year, while its P/E ratio almost doubled to 9x. The Group is also expected to report its FY25 (ended Dec 31) results at end‑February. For its 1HFY25, it delivered record profits driven by strong revenue growth across its pawnbroking, as well as gold and luxury retail and trading segments.
