Guess? (GES) and Authentic Brands said Friday they have completed a transaction to take Guess? private.

Under the deal, Authentic Brands now owns 51% of all Guess? intellectual property, while the remaining 49% is held by Maurice Marciano, Paul Marciano, Nicolai Marciano, Chief Executive Carlos Alberini and other shareholders, the companies said.

The current Guess? management owns 100% of the operating company and will continue to run the business, according to the companies.
