Deep Yellow (ASX:DYL) said detailed engineering for the Tumas uranium project in Namibia is over 60% complete, and more than 70% of all major equipment for the process plant has now been tendered, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Orders for vendor data have been placed for all long lead equipment items, per the filing. Meanwhile, the bulk earthworks for the project started in October 2025, and are 24% complete. Talks with Namibia Water regarding the draft water supply agreement and draft development agreement are ongoing.
The company added that incoming Chief Executive Greg Field will start on Feb. 2.
