Guangxi Huaxi Nonferrous Metal (SHA:600301) will invest 65 million yuan to establish a joint venture with five other firms, according to a Thursday filing on the Shanghai bourse.

The venture, Guangxi Key Metals Research Institute, will have a registered capital of 500 million yuan.

The non-ferrous metal company will own 13% of the venture.

The company's shares fell less than 2% during the afternoon trade.
