Ocugen (OCGN) said Wednesday it has priced an underwritten offering of 15 million common shares at $1.50 apiece for $22.5 million.

The offering, which will likely close Thursday, is expected to generate net proceeds to be used for general corporate purposes and capital expenditures, among other uses, the company said.

Ocugen shares were down 6% in recent Wednesday premarket activity.
