Petro-king Oilfield Services (HKG:2178) agreed to purchase two blender trucks for 8.05 million yuan, or about HK$9 million, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

Shares of the oilfield technology services company were down nearly 3% in Wednesday morning trade.

The equipment will be acquired by Petro-king's unit, Petro-king Technology, from an independent vendor, with the purchase to be funded through internal resources.

The company said the new equipment is intended to improve service efficiency, reduce maintenance costs, and meet stricter technical and environmental standards.
