Nasdaq-listed Micron Technology revealed plans to build a $24 billion chip manufacturing plant in Singapore, according to a company release on Tuesday.
The investment is going to be spread across 10 years and will provide 700,000 square feet of space, with wafer output scheduled for the second half of 2028.
The move comes with Micron looking to keep up with a growing demand for NAND technology, boosted by AI expansion.
