American Airlines $(AAL)$: Flight cancellations and delays mounted over the weekend after a winter storm snarled the central and eastern U.S. American Airlines scrapped more than 1,500 flights, nearly half of its schedule. Shares fell around 1% in premarket trading.

USA Rare Earth (USAR): The Trump administration plans to inject $1.6 billion into the rare-earth miner in return for a 10% stake, according to media reports. Shares soared in premarket trading. Other rare-earth companies, such as MP Materials (MP), also rallied.

Ryanair (IE:RYA, RYAAY): The Irish low-cost carrier raised its annual guidance, citing strong demand and earlier-than-expected Boeing $(BA)$ deliveries. However, it posted a sharp drop in quarterly profit. Shares fell around 1.5%.

Revolution Medicines (RVMD): Drugmaker Merck $(MRK)$ is no longer in discussions to buy the cancer-drug biotech because of an inability to agree on a price. RevMed's shares slid by one-quarter premarket.

EssilorLuxottica (FR:EL): The Ray-Ban maker and Meta Platforms (META) face a lawsuit alleging infringement of patents for smartglasses technologies. Solos Technology is seeking billions of dollars in damages. EssilorLuxottica shares fell 1% in Paris.

Enphase Energy (ENPH): The solar-energy company plans to cut about 6% of its staff. The end of a federal tax credit has sapped demand for residential solar panels.

Sarepta Therapeutics (SRP): The gene-therapy maker said late Friday it will present results from a study of its Elevidys muscular dystrophy treatment this morning. Shares jumped 10% premarket. The stock tanked last year after fatal liver failure cases in Elevidys patients.
