** Shares of Sunny Optical Technology Group 2382.HK climb 2.7% to HK$63.65, on track for their biggest one-day pct gain since January 2

** Stock fourth-biggest pct gainer in Hang Seng Tech Index .HSTECH, which is up 0.6%

** Automotive and mobile phone lenses maker says its vehicle-related optical business spin off unit submitted a listing application to the Hong Kong bourse for a separate listing on the mainboard of the stock exchange

** YTD, stock down 3.1%, while benchmark Hang Seng Index .HSI is up 5.9%
