Navient Corp (NAVI) reported Q4 core earnings Wednesday of $0.02 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.24 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $0.31.

Total revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31, expressed as the sum of net interest income and other income, was $137 million, down from $223 million a year earlier.
