Jan 28(Reuters) - Australia's Ampol ALD.AX on Wednesday reported a nearly 40% sequential increase in fourth-quarter refining margins at its Lytton refinery, reflecting stronger product cracks, particularly for middle distillates.
The country's top fuel retailer said the Lytton refining margin increased to $15.14 per barrel from $10.64 per barrel in the previous quarter.
