CGI (GIB) said Tuesday that it has partnered with Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI to help clients deploy AI securely, responsibly, and at enterprise scale.

Under the agreement, CGI and OpenAI will collaborate on enterprise deployment patterns, security practices and adoption models informed by CGI's experience operating AI at scale, the company said.

CGI said it will integrate OpenAI's training resources into its AI literacy program, enhancing fluency across teams in practical AI use, advanced prompt engineering and AI-specific roles.

CGI said the partnership will allow it to expand the use of OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise platform across tens of thousands of consultants.
