CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (SGX:A17U) completed the acquisition of a logistics property in the US, named DHL Canal Winchester, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

The REIT, through its unit Ascendas REIT Columbus 1, had agreed to acquire the property through a sale and leaseback from DHL for SG$94.5 million earlier this month.

Following the completion of the acquisition, the REIT now owns 227 properties spread across Singapore, Australia, the US, and the UK and Europe, the filing stated.
