0949 ET - Rogers Communications' wireless subscriber loading was lower than expected in 4Q, according to Scotiabank in a report. Analyst Maher Yaghi says Rogers added 37,000 postpaid phone customers, far short of his 58,000 estimate and the 53,000 consensus expectation. Yaghi says churn improved year-over-year but not enough to counter a "meaningful decline in gross loading." The analyst says that 2026 industry loading expectations are too high. Average revenue per unit was also down 3%, and Yaghi thinks this metric will remain negative in 2026, "but show improvement heading toward flat late in the year." (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
