0242 GMT - Singapore telecommunication sector's outlook appears positive to Citi, thanks to the anticipated market consolidation after Simba's proposed acquisition of M1. "We expect consolidation to halt the trend of industry revenue contraction over the last two years," Citi analysts write in a note. There should be improvements within the sector from 2H, after the likely approval from authorities of the merger by 1Q, Citi says.
