Qantas Airways (ASX:QAN) said that its Airbus A220 aircraft started operating flight services, effective Monday, between Brisbane and Wellington, according to a same-day statement by the airline.

The route will operate three times weekly, the statement said.

The airline expects to receive four additional Airbus A220 aircraft by mid-year, the statement added.
