Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) said Wednesday the total average daily volume on its exchanges rose 23% in January from a year earlier, while the ADV of open interest was up 18%.

Total energy ADV increased 27% year over year, with natural gas ADV up 46% and oil ADV 14% higher, according to the exchange operator.
