Litian Pictures (HKG:9958) completed the placing of 72 million shares to at least six investors at HK$0.20 apiece to raise net proceeds of HK$14 million, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.

The shares represent roughly 16.67% of the film production company's enlarged issued share capital.

The firm will use proceeds to pay for the production costs of a drama series.
