Shanghai MicroPort EP MedTech (SHA:688351) obtained medical device registration from China for its single-use intracardiac ultrasound imaging catheter.

The device is designed to work with portable ultrasound systems for anatomical imaging and with 3D mapping systems to provide catheter location data during procedures, according to a Tuesday filing with the Shanghai bourse.

The registration is valid until January 2031.

Shares of the medical equipment maker closed 1% higher Tuesday.
