Indonesian mining company Aneka Tambang (ASX:ATM) agreed to advance an integrated electric vehicle battery ecosystem in Indonesia in partnership with Indonesia Battery and Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
The integrated battery ecosystem plan includes the development of battery facilities, with a potential target capacity of up to 20 gigawatt-hours and an investment value of up to $6 billion, the filing said.
The collaboration involves HYD Investment, a consortium of Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt and EVE Energy, as well as Daaz Bara Lestari, per the filing.
